Bird Millman O'Day was born Jennadean Engleman in Cañon City, Colorado on October 20, 1890 to parents parents, Dyke F. Engleman and Genevieve Patton Engleman.
Bird sang and danced her way across the wire and into the hearts of audiences.
During World war I, Millman performed death defying stunts to sell of U. S. War Bonds.
Not only did Millman perform on circuses, she also appeared appeared in silent films and on stage. Films: The Deep Purple (1920) and The Law of the Yukon (1920). Stage appearances: Ziegfeld Follies of 1916, Ziegfeld Midnight Frolic of 1920 and The Greenwich Village Follies of 1921.
Bird Millman O'Day died in Cañon City, Colorado on August 5, 1940 at age 49 of uterine cancer
