My first circus was a horse and wagon show in Ireland - Duffy Circus
in 1961.
Then after 5 years in the U. S. Navy, I toured the U. S. with Clyde Beatty/Cole Bros. for three seasons followed by King Bros. circus, Clyde Bros. circus, Hanniford Circus, Circo Atayde Hermanos, Nordmark Circus and an asortment of other shows for short periods of time.
My wife Camille, my son Eoin and my self were featured in the Dumbo Circus section of Walt Disney World's Christmas parade for three seasons. Son Eoin resides in Columbus, Ohio and teaches at his circus arts school while son Liam an artist, resides in Brookly, N.Y.
I recorded our adventures in a book: Close, but no cigar, a Street
